Biopori

,
Age is growing. Technology, economics, everything is growing, including infrastructure development on the land surface worldwide.

Increasing age of the earth and it is directly proportional to the number of people on earth. The more people the more settlements. The more houses that also means less and less open space for the absorption. In fact, more and more residents, water taken from the soil also increased, but in fact vacant land to the place where the water absorbs less and less.

The problem was solved with a few recent discoveries, namely biopori. Biopori are holes in the ground formed by the activities of organisms in it, such as worms, plant roots, termites and other soil fauna. The holes are formed will be filled with air, and will be a place of passage of water in the soil.

When such holes can be made with large amounts, then the ability of a parcel of land to absorb water would be expected to increase. Increased ability to absorb water in the soil will minimize the chances of running water on the soil surface. Or in other words be able to reduce the danger of flooding that may occur.

Inside this hole is filled with organic waste. Organic waste is then to be food (energy source) for a variety of soil fauna to perform activities including forming biopori. With increasing their activity, the more biopori formed.

Vertical alignment of the holes were made, with biopori formed will allow the holes was used as a seepage pit is relatively inexpensive and environmentally friendly.
